Here are some helpful tips the ensure student engagement and proper behavior during the WebQuest:
1.) Always have an alternative assigment ready in case of technology failure or some other unexpected obstacle, such as a student who has lost computer privileges at school.

2.) Consider using a seating chart in the computer lab to avoid behavioral disruptions and walk around the lab to keep students on task.
3.) Do not be afraid to remove a student from the computer station if they are not following the district computer use policy or are consistently off task. Give them the PDF version of the assignment and they may use their textbook or lecture notes for the remainder of the class period.
4.) Make sure that students do not bring food or drinks into a computer lab. If a student has a documented medical condition through a 504 plan or IEP, keep the food items in a location away from the computers.
